On Monday morning, President Donald Trump unloaded on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for her most recent defense of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

Trump posted a brutal video of Rep. Omar on Friday that condemned the Democrat for her controversial remarks concerning the 9/11 terrorist attacks that killed thousands of Americans.

Under mounting pressure from vocal freshman Democrats, Pelosi demanded that the president take down the video, which she claimed was “dangerous.”

“Before Nancy, who has lost all control of Congress and is getting nothing done, decides to defend her leader, Rep. Omar, she should look at the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel and ungrateful U.S. HATE statements Omar has made,” Trump fired back on Twitter Monday morning.

“She is out of control, except for her control of Nancy!” the president pointedly added.

In a tweet posted Sunday, Pelosi called Trump’s video on Omar “dangerous” and a threat to Omar’s safety. She also demanded that Trump remove the tweet from social media.

“[Donald Trump’s] dangerous video must be taken down. I have spoken with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Rep. [Ilhan Omar], her family & her staff. They will continue to monitor & address the threats she faces,” she wrote.

The day before Pelosi’s tweet directed at Trump, the Democrat tried to condemn both Omar and the president.

“The memory of 9/11 is sacred ground, and any discussion of it must be done with reverence. The President shouldn’t use the painful images of 9/11 for a political attack,” she posted to social media on Saturday.

“As we visit our troops in Stuttgart to thank them and be briefed by them, we honor our first responsibility as leaders to protect and defend the American people. It is wrong for the President, as Commander-in-Chief, to fan the flames to make anyone less safe,” Pelosi added.

It seems Pelosi offered her harsher condemnation of Trump only after Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) publicly criticized Democratic leadership for allegedly using younger Democrats as tokens for diversity.

“They put us in photos when they want to show our party is diverse. However, when we ask to be at the table, or speak up about issues that impact who we are, what we fight for & why we ran in the first place, we are ignored. To truly honor our diversity is to never silence us,” Tlaib posted.

Here is the video that Trump tweeted concerning Omar:

Omar made the controversial 9/11 comments last month while giving a speech at an event for the controversial Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

“Here’s the truth. For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, I’m tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Rep. Omar said at the CAIR event, according to MarketWatch.
