Joe Biden, the struggling frontrunner of the Democratic primary, took to Twitter to bash President Trump’s multifaceted plan to battle the coronavirus. It seems the man looking to take Trump’s job isn’t happy about his work! But Republican congressman from Texas, Dan Crenshaw, fired back and put Biden in his place.
It’s no secret that Democrats have tried to use the virus to push their political agenda. We know fears over COVID-19 would not be nearly as bad as they are now, if the media wasn’t hyping it up to damage the administration. Democrats in Washington were quick to criticize Trump’s actions since the outbreak. They’d rather score political points then work together to end this situation.
With that in mind, are we really shocked that Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden is critical of Trump’s measures? Come on, folks. These guys want to take his job. They’ll do—or say—anything if they think it will win over a few voters.
Recently, Sleepy Joe produced some real nuggets of wisdom when he tried to attack Trump’s plans. (Despite the fact his proposals are surprisingly similar to what Trump has already done.) The Democrat took to Twitter to slam the actions Trump’s administration has taken to ensure your safety. Republican Dan Crenshaw was quick to put him in his place.
U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw fired back overnight after Joe Biden criticized President Trump’s actions on the coronavirus outbreak.
“A wall will not stop the coronavirus,” Biden wrote on Twitter on Thursday night, attempting to link the outbreak to Trump’s signature immigration goal of a strong barrier along the U.S.-Mexico border…
But Crenshaw, a freshman Republican congressman from Texas, spotted what he viewed as flaws in Biden’s thinking, and shared his thoughts in a Twitter message of his own.
“First, walls quite literally stop a virus,” Crenshaw wrote. “It’s kind of the whole point of a quarantine, for instance.
“Second, assuming you meant this metaphorically, health experts like Dr. Fauci and everyone else agree travel restrictions have vastly slowed the spread of the virus in the US.” [Source: Fox News]
Kind of odd that Joe Biden takes this opportunity to bash Trump’s border wall. What does that have to do with containing the spread of a disease? Unless, of course, you are Dan Crenshaw, who points out that walls can prevent an outbreak.
Was Joe having another “senior moment” when he brought up the wall? We know the candidate has been saying some troubling things lately. Many worry his mind isn’t fit enough to run or serve as president.
Crenshaw takes it to the former vice president by letting him know that health experts, including Dr. Fauci, have confirmed Trump’s actions have been critical in keeping Americans safe.
The temporary Europe ban was critical, as we’ve seen more spread coming from individuals traveling from Europe. The original bans on China and Iran were very key, since the virus started in Wuhan and quickly hit Tehran.
What would Joe Biden do? Sit back and keep the borders open, all but encouraging more infections? Is that what Democrats want?
We know that the worst kind of corrupt leadership is one that wants chaos and panic. Because they can exploit the uncertainty to assume more power over a country. Is that the Democrats’ strategy during this situation?
Would they have let more people get sick, so they could increase taxes and gobble up more power?
Trump’s moves have been directly addressing the problem. The spread of COVID-19 is significantly slower in the U.S., compared to the rest of the world. There is less reason to worry than anywhere else.
But if Joe had his way, who knows what state we’d be in right now?
Just be glad that Trump is in the White House, right now.
