Yesterday, President Trump spoke with state governors over the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. He discussed the country’s plan of action in dealing with this disease. At one point, he mentioned states acquiring needed medical supplies. The New York Times got audio of the conversation. But instead of quoting the entire call, they edited it to make Trump look bad. Now, they are feeling the heat.

The current coronavirus situation has all Americans on edge. Fear of contracting and spreading the disease has millions of Americans panicked, with many more self-quarantining for the coming weeks. Uncertainty about this disease has people stressed, looking for guidance wherever they can find it.

Despite the left’s complaints, the Trump administration has been leading the charge since before anyone else was concerned. Early in the year, the president has been taking action to limit the spread of this disease.

Now, with the country facing 15 days of voluntary “shutdown,” the time to stay calm and work together is needed. Every last American, regardless of political leaning, needs to band together to see us through these difficult times.

But not far-left newspaper the New York Times. They see this moment as a chance to trash the president. They deceptively edited audio from Trump’s call with state governors. And people are outraged.

At least eight New York Times authors shared a deceptively edited quote Monday from President Donald Trump’s recent call with state governors, creating the false impression that the president is denying federal support for ventilators that are needed in hospitals treating coronavirus patients.

In his message, the president recommended that states procure respirators and ventilators because it would be faster — but added that the federal government “will be backing you.”

The Times journalists omitted the bulk of the president’s statement as they shared the story on social media. The misleading, partial quote was also boosted by a CNN correspondent and became the lead headline at the left-wing Huffington Post. [Source: Breitbart]

The full quote was, “Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves. We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Point of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself.” Pretty clear what he was saying. If states procure this equipment directly, of course they would get it faster. But the president assured these leaders that they had the backing of the federal government.

These liberal “journalists” omitted his promise to back the states, only posting the “try getting it yourselves” line. And we know this was not a mistake, but a deliberate attack on the administration at the worst time, as some of them adding commentary like “wow” to their tweets.

Many Americans and leaders bashed the NYT for deliberately misrepresenting this call, just to hurt the president.

Can you imagine how crooked someone has to be to still be pushing their political agenda during a pandemic? These con artists are so evil, they will lie about Trump even as the country suffers from this unprecedented outbreak.

You see, normal human beings—with souls—put aside their rivalries during trying times. Hell, even Gavin Newsom, governor of super liberal California, praised Trump over his support for the state.

Yet these scum bags at the NYT—whose city is facing the worst of this crisis—can’t help but lie and lie and lie.
And for what? So, a few liberal readers (who already hate Trump over false pretenses) hate him some more?

Disgusting. How can these “professionals” live with themselves? How can they pretend they are honest reporters, doing the job of delivering facts to the people?

They’re not. They’re liars and partisan goons. And they should face the consequences of their lying.
