An impressive new survey conducted by Rasmussen signals something is coming that could be disastrous for the Democratic party.

According to the poll, nearly one-third of black voters would vote for President Trump “if the presidential election was held today.”

Rasmussen conducts these polls every day, and this week alone the number has steadily increased daily from 27% on Monday, to 31% on Thursday.

The pollster is known for its accuracy after successfully predicting the results of the 2016 election.

Trump earned similar support from black voters following the Republican National Convention this summer, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll. That poll shows Trump with a 24% and 32% approval rating from black voters and Hispanic voters, respectively.

President Trump has been successfully expanding his base to include minority voters since the election in 2016.

His work with the black community has been a driving factor of the growing support for him, and he’s not done yet.

On Thursday, Rapper Lil Wayne shocked the internet when he announced that he had a meeting with President Donald Trump and praised POTUS for his work on criminal justice reform and the administration’s “Platinum Plan,” which is intended to bolster black Americans’ prosperity.

“Just had a great meeting with [President Donald Trump],” Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., captioned a photo of the pair together.

“Besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform,” he added, “the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

Wayne isn’t the only celebrity working with Trump on the Platinum Plan. As noted by The Daily Wire earlier this month, actor and rapper Ice Cube confirmed that he worked with administration on the plan, too.

Trump’s Platinum Plan seeks to “increase access to capital in black communities by almost $500 billion” and outlines its four “pillars” as follows:

Since 2015, the Democrats and their allies in the media have attempted to label President Trump as a racist – using that in the hopes that blacks and Hispanics will continue to support them regardless of how terrible their policy decisions are.

But that illusion seems to be failing, perhaps due in part to the fact that the Democratic candidate is an actual racist, having made numerous comments on camera indicating so, such as “if you don’t vote for [Biden] you ain’t black.”

Democrats have gone as far in their attempts to retain black voters on their side, that they have made comments blasting black supporters of the president as “Uncle Toms” – a narrative that a black Democratic Michigan City Council member endorsing President Trump is calling flat-out wrong.

“Right now, the narrative [has] been spent — President Trump is full of hate,” Flint councilman and self-described longtime Democrat Maurice Davis said.

“Let me tell you something, the Democrats are full of hate. I’m tired, I’ve been a Democrat, I am a Democrat all my life, 64 years,” Davis said. “Last four years I voted for Hillary Clinton. This year I decided to go with President Trump. I’m not a bootlicker, I’m not an Uncle Tom.”

“People are losing everything, and when Mr. Trump says, ‘What the hell do you got to lose?’ he was talking to me,” Davis added. “But this is what I got to gain: Instead of being a divided state of America, it’s time to be the United States of America.”
