Black Lives Matter is forgetting where they came from.
The father of slain teenage Michael Brown is railing against the organization, claiming current leaders are forgetting the city that thrusted BLM onto the world stage.
On Tuesday, Michael Brown Sr. along with other activists, released a statement demanding $20 million for the city of Ferguson, Missouri.
Activists say the $20 million is not a handout, but a donation toward the very community that helped BLM become the worldwide phenomenon it is today. Brown Sr. claims he’s received less than $500 from the organization.

In 2014, the death of Michael Brown Jr. sparked violent protests in Ferguson and demonstrations across the country. Since then, financial reports reveal Black Lives Matter raked in over $90 million last year, mostly in donations.
