Hundreds of Trump supporters participated in a MAGA boat parade in Charleston, South Carolina to kick off the unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day.

Does anyone remember hundreds of boaters paying tribute to President Obama or any other president? We don’t either.

About 700 people initially signed up, but the event swelled to thousands once amused spectators joined in to admire the massive boat convoy.

South Carolina resident Frank Collins said he was amazed by how many boats he saw in Charleston Harbor and the enthusiastic crowd that had gathered to witness the event.

“We just came out to see how big it was going to be and were overwhelmed,” Collins told WCSC-TV. “This is huge!”

In the morning, spots on boat ramps quickly filled up as eager Trump supporters lined up to participate in the maritime parade.

“I got here at 8:30 this morning, but the entire parking lot was already full of boat trailers,” Betsy Logan said.

The event went off without a hitch because the Charleston Police Department, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Department of Natural Resources made regular patrols to ensure public safety.

An aerial video of the MAGA flotilla captured the magnificent size and scope of the maritime parade.

Predictably, there’s always a stick in the mud to complain about people having fun. Keep in mind that all the parade participants stayed on their boats (which means they maintained social distancing of more than six feet).

Moreover, there’s almost zero chance of the coronavirus spreading outdoors, according to multiple researchers. But Debbie Downers always ignore science and bleat illogical, apocalyptic, left-wing talking points.

Take local Charleston activist William Hamilton. “My first thought is that it was remarkable that when Americans were dying at the rate of over 1,000 a day, and 40 million people are out of work that somebody thought it was appropriate to hold a big party,” Hamilton groused.

MAGA boat parades are becoming increasingly popular among Trump supporters as nationwide lockdowns and social-distancing rules prevent rallies.

The phenomenon appears to have started in March, after a group called “Boaters for Trump South Florida” held a pro-Trump rally on the Hillsboro Beach Intracoastal waterway.

The MAGA flotillas gained steam four weeks ago, after a Trump supporter in Florida was banned from flying a Trump flag on his dock by the management of the community where he lives.

Carlos Gavidia reacted by defiantly getting the name “TRUMP” plastered in capital letters on the side of his boat. The President reacted by thanking Gavidia for his unwavering support.

A day afterward, hundreds of South Florida boaters convened on the Intracoastal Waterway to show their support for President Trump. He reacted by thanking the boaters.

“Thank you very much to our beautiful ‘boaters.’ I will never let you down!” Trump tweeted.

These MAGA boat parades underscore that Trump supporters remain firmly behind the President as the November election approaches.

Many cable-news pundits insist that the lack of MAGA rallies due to the lockdowns will hurt Trump’s chances for reelection because he won’t be able to mobilize his voters. Naturally, Trump supporters reacted by ingeniously moving their rallies to the seas.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden is still trying to recover from his racist “You Ain’t Black” debacle. He left his basement for the first time yesterday to attend a Memorial Day event.

However, Biden is stumbling. His Freudian slip below underscores once again that he is his own worst enemy.

Sleepy Joe declared: “I’m prepared to say that I have a record over 40 years, and that I’m going to beat Joe Biden.”

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham threw down the gauntlet to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Graham warned Pelosi that if she doesn’t deliver the articles of impeachment this week, the Senate could change the rules so the articles will be “deemed” to have been delivered so the trial can begin soon.

Graham said it’s outrageous for Pelosi to hijack the articles of impeachment in order to “extort” the Senate to get her way. It’s almost a certainty that the GOP-led Senate will acquit President Trump, so the Democrats’ sham impeachment will have been a waste of time and taxpayer money.

“We’re not going to let Nancy Pelosi use the rules of the Senate to her advantage. This is dangerous to the presidency as an institution,” Graham told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo. “They impeached the president, but the Speaker of the House is holding the articles back, trying to extort from the Senate Majority Leader a trial to her liking. They’re trying to hold these articles over the head of the president.”

Graham added: “The reason Democrats are not sending [the articles to the Senate] is because they are so weak and it’s a pathetic case, and they’re looking to add something.”

Lindsey Graham continued: “If she continues to refuse to send the articles as required by the Constitution, I would work with Senator McConnell to change the rules of the Senate so we could start the trial without her, if necessary.”

When asked how quickly he would act on his threat, Graham responded, “Days, not weeks.”

Graham explained: “If we don’t get the articles this week, then we need to take matters in our own hands and change the rules — deem them to be delivered to the Senate so we can start the trial. We’ll invite the House over to participate if they would like. If they don’t come, we’ll dismiss the case and get on with governing the country.”

When asked how he expects the Senate impeachment trial to go, Graham said it would follow the same procedure that the 1999 trial of Bill Clinton did.

Graham explained: “We’ll use the Clinton model, where you take the record established in the House, let the House managers appointed by Pelosi make the argument. We then let the President make his argument about why the two articles are flawed, and then we’ll decide whether we want witnesses. But this should be done in a couple of weeks.”

Graham said he hopes to have the Senate impeachment trial wrapped up before the end of January. However, this is probably not likely since the Democratic Party wants to draw out the impeachment stunt in order to taint President Trump in the lead-up to the November 2020 election.

President Trump reacted on Twitter this morning, saying: “The great Scam continues. To be spending time on this political Hoax at this moment in our history, when I am so busy, is sad!”

By this point, everyone knows that the impeachment is a partisan political process, as evidenced by the two vague articles of impeachment the House Democrats brought against President Trump.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) admitted in 1999 that impeachments are partisan, and that most senators decide how they’ll vote BEFORE the trial begins.

Moreover, Schumer confessed that during Bill Clinton’s impeachment, he had made up his mind to acquit several months before the trial began. The Clinton trial started on January 7, 1999 and ended on February 12, 1999.

Schumer said in 1999: “We [senators] have a pre-opinion [before the trial starts]. This is not a criminal trial, but this is something that the Founding Fathers decided to put in a body that was susceptible to the whims of politics.”

In other words, the impeachment is nothing more than an elaborate, taxpayer-funded political theater to damage President Trump.
